Warranty
Staircase & Millwork Company conditionally guarantees its products to be free from defective material or workmanship for a period of one year. The company shall not be responsible for misuse or improper use of its product and expresses no warranty for safety or performance. Installation of parts should be made by qualified persons according to construction industry standards.
Care should be exercised in the storage and use of these products. Parts are for interior use only; exposure to extreme humidity, moisture or temperatures may cause delamination, checking, warpage, or raised grain. Rotate inventory to minimize exposure. When parts areinstalled, the staircase and staircase parts should be finished as soon as possible.
Some upscale woods, such as cherry and mahogany, will age (get darker) rapidly, particularly if exposed to UV light (sunlight). This effect is a natural tendency of these woods, and they will continue to age even after a finish is applied. This natural tendency can be slowed, however, by storing in a dark area at room temperature and applying a finish as soon as possible.
Staircase & Millwork Company reserves the right to modify design or specifications to either improve products or enhance manufacturing.
Pricing
Prices to dealers are F.O.B. warehouse Alpharetta, GA. If you require freight prepaid, specify UPS delivery. UPS charges are prepaid and added to the invoice. UPS, however, has a length restriction of 9 feet. A $15.00 service charge will be added to all UPS orders.
This LIST PRICE supersedes all previous price lists and is subject to change without notice.
Terms
Discount terms are a privilege, not a right, and will be strictly adhered to. Returned checks are subject to a $30.00 charge. We reserve the right to charge interest for late payment beyond company established policies.

Returns
Approval: Returns can only be made on stock merchandise and must have prior approval from Staircase & Millwork Company. An approval authorization number (RGA#) will be required for Staircase & Millwork Company to accept returns. Consult your salesperson.
Charge: Merchandise with proper paperwork approved for return is subject to a 20% restocking charge. Merchandise without paperwork is subject to a 40% restocking charge. We reserve the right to not accept returns without proper paperwork.
Freight: The customer is responsible for freight on all returns.
Condition: Merchandise must be in good, salable condition in the original carton. Custom orders and cut, painted or otherwise modified merchandise will not be approved for return or credit.
Time: Returns must be made within 90 days of the invoice date.
Linear
Linear products, such as handrail, will be shipped to requested length, if possible. Otherwise, linear products will be shipped and billed to the next longer length available. Bulk shipments of linear products will contain approximately 30% 14” through 16” lengths.
Quality Standards
Staircase & Millwork Company follows Quality Standards established by the Architectural Woodwork Institute. We use Custom Grade lumber. Wood is a natural product, and therefore, different wood species have varying natural characteristics. In particular, the difference between heartwood and sapwood is more pronounced in cherry, maple and poplar. Orders that require quality above this high standard will have an additional charge.
